Summer skin care involves adapting your routine to the higher temperatures, increased sun exposure, and potentially higher humidity levels.
Sunscreen: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every day, even on cloudy days. Reapply every two hours, especially if you're swimming or sweating.
Hydration: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out. Consider using lightweight, oil-free moisturizers to prevent clogged pores.
Cleansing: Cleanse your skin twice a day to remove sweat, oil, and sunscreen buildup. Consider using a gentle, hydrating cleanser in the morning and a cleanser suitable for your skin type in the evening to remove dirt and makeup.
Exfoliation: Exfoliate your skin regularly to remove dead skin cells and prevent clogged pores. However, be cautious not to over-exfoliate, as it can strip your skin of its natural oils and cause irritation.

Avoid peak sun hours: Try to avoid being outdoors during the peak sun hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you must be outside, seek shade whenever possible.
After-sun care: If you do get sunburned, apply aloe vera gel or a soothing moisturizer to help calm and hydrate your skin. Avoid further sun exposure until your skin has healed.
