Various Yoga Aasanas
Here are some common yoga asanas (poses):
1. Mountain Pose (Tadasana):Standing tall with feet together, arms at your sides, and shoulders relaxed.
2. Downward-Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana): Forming an inverted V-shape with your body, hands and feet on the ground.
3. Warrior I (Virabhadrasana I): Lunging forward with one leg, the other leg stretched out behind, arms extended upward.
4. Warrior II (Virabhadrasana II): Similar to Warrior I, but with arms extended parallel to the ground, one pointing forward and the other backward.
5. Tree Pose (Vrksasana): Balancing on one leg with the sole of the opposite foot pressed against the inner thigh, hands in prayer position.
6. Child's Pose (Balasana): Kneeling on the ground, sit back on your heels with arms stretched forward and forehead resting on the ground.
7. Corpse Pose (Savasana): Lying flat on your back, arms at your sides, palms facing up, and eyes closed, focusing on relaxation and deep breathing.
These are just a few examples, and there are many more asanas in yoga practice, each with its own benefits and variations.
